Indian equities markets ended higher on Monday.Global market cues were positive and buying across all the sectors helped the indices to remain positive.Sensex gained 0.54 percent up 93.92 points to close at 17,558.73.NSE gained 0.60 percent up 31.15 points, to settle at 5,232.20.Market breadth was positive with advances at 1006 against declines of 276 on the NSE.BSE Midcap closed up 1.61 percent up 108.12 points to 6,825.94 and Small Cap indices was up 1.63 percent up 136.14 points to 8,493.76.

Bse Metal index was up 1.93 percent up 336.39 points to 17,735.61.National Aluminium Company Ltd. was up 5.23 percent up 21.85 to close at 439.90.Gujarat NRE Coke Ltd. was up 7.07 percent up 5.65 to close at 85.55.

Bse Auto index was up 1.90 percent up 141.31 points to 7,577.14.Escorts was up 10.19 percent up 13.45 to close at 145.45.Ashok Leyland was up 5.55 percent up 2.75 to close at 52.30.

Bse FMCG index was up 1.30 percent up 36.37 points to 2,827.92.United Spirits was up 4.58 percent up 57.60 to close at 1,316.50.Colgate-Palmolive was up 4.20 percent up 27.65 to close at 686.65.

Bse Oil & Gas index was down 0.17 percent down 17.92 points to 10,453.05.Reliance Industries was down 1.29 percent down 14.05 to close at 1,075.35.Aban Offshore was up 3.85 percent up 49.35 to close at 1,331.85.

Bse Bankex index was up 0.79 percent up 78.86 points to 10,109.66.Oriental Bank of Commerce was up 3.67 percent up 9.20 to close at 259.60.IDBI Bank was up 1.57 percent up 2.00 to close at 129.45.

Bse Realty index was up 0.41 percent up 15.67 points to 3,871.45.DLF was up 0.97 percent up 3.50 to close at 364.65.Unitech was up 0.67 percent up 0.55 to close at 82.85.

Top Gainers were Rashtriya Chemicals up 11.56 percent, Chambal Fertilis up 9.93 percent,GTL Infrastructure up 7.51 percent, Guj. NRE Coke up 7.07 percent.Top losers were Central Bank down 4.10 percent,IRB Infrastructure down 2.82 percent.
